drabble
on: February 28, 2006, 02:57:06 AM
just played a new game tonight with my 11 year old called 'drabble.' it's kind of like scrabble except you don't stack the letters and you can use them in X pattern or / patterns as long as you don't use the same letter twice. it's hard to explain, but anyway - you get 1 point for three or four letter words and more points for 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 letter ones. anyway, my daughter keeps winning! 'thought' was her word - and it went all over the place _/`- you have to play the game once to understand. it comes with a timer and you only get 3 minutes to make and write down a list of words. really fun game for that age.
