Camille Stamaty Op. 39
on: March 09, 2006, 07:56:20 PM
Hi,
I'm looking for the sheet music of Camille-Marie Stamaty, Op. 39, and have not been able to find anyone with this!

I have Op. 38, and I must say this is beautiful music, in my opinion.

Does anybody know where I can find this?
Thanks,
Edgard

I would be interested to see the Op38 if you have it as a pdf.

I have never seen any original compositions by Stamaty, only a piano method.

Did he not teach Saint-Saens??

Sorry, I have a very old book only.

The pieces are actually etudes, but are quite melodic, and beautiful in my opinion.   Op. 37 are supposedly easier, Op. 38 medium difficulty, and Op. 39 are the advanced ones.

Yes, Stamaty was Saint Saens teache...

Best regards,Edgard
