I have composed a new piano piece called "Presidential Secretary Becomes First Lady" which uses the theme style of Beethoven's Appassionata. The link below will direct you to an mp3 listening webpage.

U posted tension between...(dont remember title) a piano piece.....and if remember correct  some Girl...piano pieces before.....
First I would like to commend you on attempting to compose....Second on listening to ur pieces they pretty much sound alike in terms of texture, color (may be the midi plugin to blame) the rythmic variations and harmonies...Third I would say u shud try to bring in something that flashes in u something thats very original and more melodic ...composing is like giving birth....it has to be deep inside u, an urge or an inspiration, Fourth please dont imitate Beethoven or Chopin.....they are in-imitable...and Fifth Good Luck on ur next piece...

I have seen your profile and you have just joined this forum for 11 days. How would you know the piano pieces I have posted last year or several months ago, or did you have multiple accounts?

Very Simple....after listening to ur latest piece here which is "presidential....", I searched for tuckerkao on the Piano Street forum and I found some hits and listened to those pieces as well....call it research or curiosity I always check other compositions by composers as well, just to see how a composer grows in every piece....and only then I decided to comment....

If you want to listen something that is absolutely unrelatable to any existing composers, then click the link below to my piano piece "Congress Verses President" which uses a bunch of augmented, diminished and minor seven chords. It should be incredibly hard to listen the tune.

But remember, harder is not always better, you get the most audience at only certain levels.

I dunno, I like it.  It's like you said, I can listen to it, unlike Sorabji or something...

This is a really good piece, and I'm suprised how realistic Finale 2005 sounds in your pieces! It sounded like a real recording to me, until I noticed that it said 'Piano piece composed in Finale 2005' ::) I listened to some of your other stuff too, and I really like 'Zmwivd Ozkizb Yvxlnvh Nb Yilgsvi', but how the heck do you pronounce it? Could you write it down in English like a string of sounds (like they do in the dictionary so you can pronounce it)?

I read about your injury to your arms, but do you still play? Because I would love to hear you record this piece, and many others: but they seem a bit too bashy for your injured arms; but then again, you must have had to play them at some point during composing them. I don't know how badly you have injured you arms though, so I cannot really say: but will you consider it?
Cheers,
Henrah

If you transposed the letters in the a reverse order, you'll know the meaning of the title such as a to z, b to y, c to x, d to w and so on.

I still play on the real piano keyboard, just not too fast. Since I have once reached a speed of 180 quarter notes per second and learned some compositions, I knew how a fast piece should be built and decorated. For my arm injuries, I hurt both of them, especially for the little fingers, I couldn't use them much while playing a concerto or an Etude.

Aaaahhh, very cool! So 'Zmwivd Ozkizb Yvxlnvh Nb Yilgsvi' means Andrew Lapray Becomes My Brother! Sweet, that's a pretty cool way of naming your pieces! And I noticed that a lot of your pieces 'become your brother' :P

I think 180notes in a second is a bit unrealistic, or do you mean a metronome marking?

I sort of speed up the recording, due to the total length and the file size of the audio of my piano pieces. If people play these pieces in the concert hall, a speed of 120-144 quarter notes per minute is recommended.
