clavinova clp240/270
on: March 19, 2006, 07:02:13 PM
Hi everyone. I'm looking for a new digital piano. have set my eyes on the two clavinova models clp 240 and clp 270. I'm a beginner ( played for about a year ). does anyone know if the 240 is a good instrument (I like the sound and touch of it), or should I go for the clp 270? I think the 270 is a little bit expensive. Is it worth the 1800$ more than the 240?? My current instrument is a DGX200 and I'm sick of it. Want a real intsrument but have to have the headphone possibillity

Have you considered getting a real acoustic with a silent feature?

The entry level Kawai with Anytime (and plastic cabinetry...) is not a whole lot more expensive than the CLP-270, if you don´t need the other features of the digital, this may be something to check out.

Other brands offering this as an option include Yamaha and Schimmel.

That is not the case (as far as I know) in Norway. The stores i've been talking to tells me it is quite a different in prices between clp 270 and a silent acoustic /several thousand $
