First Recital
on: March 22, 2006, 12:52:53 AM
I will be playing in a my first recital on May 22 and have about a 15 minute time slot.

I have been playing for about a year, though only seriously for 4 months.

I will be playing: Chopins Prelude in A Flat Major (Op. Posthumous)
Chopins Polonaise in A Flat Major (Op. Posthumous)
and mebbe Bachs 2 Part Invention in C

Does that sound okay?

Does it sound ok? Of course it does, it is beautiful music. Some people will groan and say they have heard these things hundreds of times but these pieces are definatly very famous and wonderful music. What is the recital for?

Is the prelude in Ab Major the Raindrop prelude? Was that really published after Chopin died? Or is there another Ab Major prelude?

I think it's op.post prelude, not Raindrop

Ah yes of course, Raindrop is part of Op.28, obviously not after he died! Silly me ::)

Beautiful music you've chosen, I approve.  8)

Best of luck to you!
