This one is quite tonal.  I had a base of G-sharp minorish something.  The lower tetra chord  usually tries to say in minor while the upper tetra chord is variable. 

I was testing my equipment for recording at 32-bit.  It went well, although I had an unknown reason for a crash while playing back first time.  No data was lost as Audition has automatic backups.  I would describe the sound as haveing more "substance" than my 16-bit recordings.  It is still evident in the mp3.  Mics were kept in there usual places as past recordings I posted here.

Mics: (2x) Studio Projects B1
Interface: Edirol UA-25
Software: Adobe Audition 1.0 set at 32-bit, 44.1 kHz; no reverb added
Piano: Yamaha C3

Yamaha's are perfect for modern romantic stuff 8)

The style is quiet soft romantic and modern for the introduction. Starting the third section, the strong basses were added which is awesome with great dynamic. Enjoy that thundering storm feel. Although it says that it's a Improv, I believe it's a model that mixed Prelude and Improv. Nice ending with a return path to the primary theme and a gradual fading away effect. Did you used all the 88 keys on the piano keyboard for this piece?

Tuckerkao, I probably used most but not all keys.  I used the lowest A up to the highest A-sharp. I really like to use as much of the piano as possible when I improv. 

Many of my improvs tend to be very well grounded in structure, something which I think gives much more substance to the music.  It helps the listener organize the sounds which are being taken in.  Even when I try to be archaic, people have told me I still gave good structure to my improv. 

This particular one has the main idea in section A, the main idea with accompaniment subdivided into tripplet 8ths in section B, further subdivision of accompaniment into sixteenths in section C, followed by recap of A for the closing.
