Brahms 116.4
on: March 27, 2006, 06:15:43 AM
Still have work to do on this one but I'm interested in preliminary comments if anybody cares to listen...  Recorded tonight on my Yamaha p-90 digital, so no una corda pedal which this piece really should have.

My biggest complaint about this recording is that i start the piece off too loud.  NOt sure what I was thinking.

Wow.  I also enjoyed it.

How does this one compare to 118.2 in difficulty?

Thanks guys.   I'm really glad you enjoyed it.  VWM, I would think it's probably slightly easier than 118.2, but they're probably both in about the same ballpark.  I don't play 118.2 or any other Brahms for that matter.  My next piece will be op10.1, the first Ballade.  I wanted to learn something big meaty and chordal to compliment this slower piece.
