My first performance with orchestra
on: March 28, 2006, 12:17:10 PM
Hello guys. This is the first time I play with an orchestra. it's not very good but better than nothing ;)

We played Beethoven 2nd piano concerto, 3rd movement.
The sound quality is not amazing, and the balance is deceiving because the mic was situated behind the orchestra (hence you hear more horns and less piano and strings...)
Anyway, share your thoughts if you like :)

Very nice, the orchestra was great. Do you play a lot of Mozart ?  8)

hey this is good! you must have very high standards and expectations of yourself.:) your orchestral debut is definitely worth to be remembered as a great experience. i had mine just early this month with schuman PC, it was a disaster.:( now who would want to remember a debut that sounded like s**t? hehehe.

btw, i played this concerto too.:) great playing!

Yes, they sounded very good. the only thing that that needed a little attention was the recording method. To me it sounded like something that could have been seen on sky TV late at night . The thing is sometimes the pianist is very good but the ochestra is a very bad.  ::)

Fabulous!  You play clearly and with a lively energy that is infectious.  I do wish I could hear you a little better over the orchestra (who also sound great), but as you said, the miking was the problem.

When you go on tour for mega$$$$$ I'll be sure to buy a ticket!

All the best,
Teresa
