Hornby Eagles Nest
HORNBY ISLAND - A webcast of an eagles nest is proving a world-wide hit.
The live Internet feed has counted more than two million hits from all corners of the globe.

As many as 5,000 people are looking in at any given moment.

A special event is in the works in the nest as two eagle parents are hatching a pair of eggs.

Their babies are expected to hatch around April 25th.

You can peek in on the parents-to-be at the following link:

very cool and yet i wonder if animals have a 'thing' about privacy.  will they always open up or will they look for another nest and never build there again?  it's like the peeks at the solar system we are getting.  we get to see a glimpse and then we have to rerun it over and over to understand what we saw.

I first saw this on the news cast and it was stated that the camera was set up in between nesting seasons when the birds had abandoned the nest for the season.

They showed the return of the eagles. When the birds first noticed the camera, they were curious about it, but soon they ignored it.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive.
