tiny microphone for digital recorder
on: April 11, 2006, 01:36:46 PM
I have a very small digital recorder.

I need a very small microphone.  High quality.  $100-200 tops.  Pencil size at the largest -- It should fit in my pocket as easy as a pencil.

I've got a small, cheapy one now, but I want something better.

Any ideas?

Sony makes one for $99 and $130 or so.  They're plug-in powered and intended for use on MiniDisc or HandyCam.  They both use 1/8" stereo connectors.

Or you could go with an AKG C1000S condenser which as optional self powered battery.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
