I'm not sure, but i think there's a "Remove vote" option. I've never used it, though.

I can set everything back to zero if people are okay with that.  That's the only way I know that you can revote, I checked and that's all I can see.

If the title of the thread was "your favorite composer(s)" then I would have known you were looking for more than one, so if you are going to reset the votes, you might as well change the title of the thread while your at it.

THERE! it's been erased an people can re-vote, if there'a anyone else, I think We should just leave it.  I seriously doubt there's anyone else's very VERY favourite that is not on the list. Just click other and specify.  Happy voting!

Remember, it the composer that you enjoy playing and enjoy listening to, not who do you think is the greatest composer, with the most complex/artistic/whatever.

1. Chopin
2. Rachmaninoff
3. Tchaikovsky

Are any of those you top 6 favourite composers? Because I'd rather have the votes start off on the same foot.

It is 'impossible' to have a poll like this.

If you include 'all composers' then, with a top 6, most of them will get 0 votes.

So if you want to find out what 'our' top 6 would be an incomplete list will do. But if you have a complete list the number of votes for those not in the top 6 will be many times bigger than those that do make it. A lot of composers will get 3 or 4 votes ( or 2 and 3, depending on the number of people voting). So though 6 composers will make the top, only a minority would have voted for them.

If you want to have a real poll then you need to have stages. First, make a complete list, or rather one as complete as possible. So first, collect names for two weeks or so.

Then either randomly pair every composer with another or make pools.

Then have people vote for each pair. Or have people vote for each pool, where only the top will go through the next round.
