I was getting a 403 error (not authorized to access the site) a couple of days ago, so I e-mailed the webmaster. He told me that the site had served its purpose, so he took it down on April 7th. I guess it won't be there anymore.

I downloaded nearly the whole library when it was up with this program https://www.httrack.com/, I think it missed a few files but if anyone needs anything specific then post and ill put it up on yousendit or whatever.

Well, I'd like pretty much the entire library. I only managed to get about half of the Scarlatti sonatas before it was taken down. How many hundreds of megabytes is the entire library? Would it be possible to compress the library down to like 50-100 megabytes? I can only download about 250 megabytes an hour.

The portion I've got (it looks pretty incomplete actually, all of Schumann is missing for a start) is 1.26GB.  Compression doesn't seem to do much to PDFs.

Edit: looking through it, a lot of stuff is missing.  Won't be using that software again.

Hmm, that's a large bit of files. Can't really ask for all of it considering what size it is. Well, I'll remember your username, and if I ever need anything specifically I'll just ask you for that, if you don't mind.

Greetings.

It may go up again, as it did with Pianoeducation. Apparently lots of people sending emails may do the trick. Perhaps it may do so well here.

Hope this helps.

Yep, piano.ru is back online temporarily.  :D I downloaded all the sheet music there today, a whopping 2.94 GB. Now it's time to actually sit down, look through it, and see what I got.

Can somebody download all of the sheet music to a database so when it goes down again, the person who downloded it is our savior.
