Poulenc suggestions
on: April 16, 2006, 07:39:14 PM
I'd like to get started playing his works.
I like his Trois Pieces (esp. the toccata) and the 3 intermezzi (particularly Ab. The one in C doesn't sound meditative but I still like it).
Which work is closest in difficulty to the third movement of the Ravel Sonatine and Chopin's Etude in C minor, Op.25 no.12 "Ocean"? Is the Ab intermezzo harder or easier?
Please reply (I'm sure u'll all ignore me).
