Which newspaper do you read?
on: April 17, 2006, 01:08:02 AM
Just curious. I am from Western Canada, but recently moved to Ontario. I read the National Post, it’s right of centre politically. Nearly everyone here reads either the Globe and Mail or the Toronto Star. I will occasionally look through a Globe and Mail but draw the line at the Toronto Star.

I read the Daily Sport.

It is by far the best paper in England.

i don't read a newspaper excepting editorials from the local daily paper sometimes.  sad, i know.  i used to.

bbc world news and bits and pieces of info from assorted sources.  i never check them.  i wait for people to tell me - that's a load - or right - that's true.  reading a wide variety of sources is probably the best way to check info - but i don't have time at this particular point.  rather read about music (which i AM getting pickier about who says what, what they say, and where they got their info).

Edmonton Journal, Ed Sun is trash.  Ottawa Citzen is good, could neve stand reading the globe and Mail, pretty dry if you ask me.  I know this isn't really a newpaper and rather a new magazine, but I'd die without my Time Magazine everyweek, 'cause of easter it's late, I feel so lost without it.... :'(

The Sunday Times i LOVE.

Especially the Sunday Times Magazine and the News Revew bits.

I get so excited at Sunday breakfast time, except when I realise my dad hasn't been to the shop to buy it yet.

I also like the Independent if i'm desperate.

Which columnists are good in the Toronto Star?

I love Andrew Coyne in the National Post.
