Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas vs. Pour le piano
on: April 18, 2006, 08:42:57 PM
Which piece is more difficult (as far as I know, the last movement is the hardest part of each, so even a comparison of these would be helpful)?
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

hmm... ive been looking at these... 2 is easiest by far... then the first isnt that hard, but the different keys in each hand may get a little confusing but not really cos it's the same pattern of notes repeated up and down (sorry but i dont know theory).
The third is just like everything put together in my opinion - a rampage to show off virtuosity and it is definitely the hardest...

Working on: Schubert - Piano Sonata D.664, Ravel - Sonatine, Ginastera - Danzas Argentinas

Pour le Piano is more difficult than Danzas Argentinas; the Toccata is a particularly difficult piece; read through them, just galnce at the scores, you'll see what I mean.
