practising lots of pieces
on: November 28, 2003, 11:08:03 AM
Hello pianists (prof)!
How do YOU practise all pieces say like 5 different pieces each day ?
To be prof-is it like sitting in the room and practising all these huges repertoire all day long with short breaks beetween ? -it can happen I have no time to go out because I have to reach the "deadline" to manage all pieces-just sitting in the room, practising.. and go out to kitchen-and bathroom-that's all. Sometimes you get so bored or crazy about it-so wonder- Am I not a normal person ??
.....It is a question of balance of your own condition I suppose...

I don't try to practice every piece every day. I play a few to warm up and warm down but mainly concentrate on just a single piece.
