A song I wrote

Hey,

I've had piano lessons for like a halve a year - once a week, when I was about 11 or 12 years old.

After my teacher stopped teaching the piano I didn't play the piano anymore for like 4 years.

Now mostly I play guitar, but throughout the past few years I started practicing a little piano again too.
Now I have written a song and recorded it.

I have posted it on: www.myspace.com/nanneboukes

I reallly wonder what other pianists think of it, any tips or comments?

Greetings nanne

P.S. I am 19 years old now

Hi nanne,

Your experience sounds so much like mine it is actually quite alarming! I had a few piano lessons as a kid, then started playing guitar and got back into piano at almost exactly the same age you have! What's more interesting is the way you play is quite similar to how I played for a while when I got back into it!    I like the riffs you've come up with. Keep experimenting!  If ever you'd like to chat with someone about making up your own piano music just send me a personal message!

Interesting... sounds like something that would be featured on a 8-bit video game (like metroid or an RPG game or something)!  I'm diggin' the delay effect you have on the piano, though the left hand is quite repetitive for my taste.  Songs have words, though, so this technically is a piece, not a song...  ;)

Keep up the good work!

Josh
