I like
Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2
Rach 2
Rach 3
Saint-Saines No. 3
Tchaikvosky No.1

All piano concertos of course. Anyone like to add on any similar concerti?

The Brull concerti are similar to the Brahms, but not in the same league.

The Bortkiewicz is sort of a Rach 1.5.

Thankfully, I do not know of anything similar to the Tchaikovsky.

Paderewski A minor!
aaah. what a wonderful concerto! his sonata is to die for!!!
I recommend Dohnanyi No's 1 & 2 - these are absolutely fantastic!!! Very similar (in terms of amount of fireworks) to Rachmaninov etc...
Here's the link to the download (nicked from Gamingforce, but they're all so kind i doubt they mind):
Dohnanyi Concerto No. 1 - Martin Roscoe:

I like these even more because the pianist taught my teacher!  ;D
Seriously they are amazing pieces... listen to them all the way through - i know all the movements are like 20mins each.. but still...

scriabin can be boring the first time you listen to it, because of the lack of fireworks, but give it a chance and it is amazing.... i agree..

Can you send me a recording of the Paderewski sonata if you have it? I would be delighted :) .

As for the topic, Scharwenka C minor, after hearing the first 10 seconds of it: d'Albert?

sure. ill upload it as soon as possible... its absolutely mindblowing... on a level with rach's second sonata definitely... almost as good as the liszt sonata and Alkan Grande Sonate in my opinion, but not just there...
