Paderewski A minor!
aaah. what a wonderful concerto! his sonata is to die for!!! I recommend Dohnanyi No's 1 & 2 - these are absolutely fantastic!!! Very similar (in terms of amount of fireworks) to Rachmaninov etc...Here's the link to the download (nicked from Gamingforce, but they're all so kind i doubt they mind):Dohnanyi Concerto No. 1 - Martin Roscoe:https://www.gamingforce.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.megaupload.com%2F%3Fd%3DZQ554G0LDohnanyi Concerto No. 2 - Martin Roscoe:https://www.gamingforce.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.megaupload.com%2F%3Fd%3DW9F08U45I like these even more because the pianist taught my teacher! Seriously they are amazing pieces... listen to them all the way through - i know all the movements are like 20mins each.. but still...Tom
Can you send me a recording of the Paderewski sonata if you have it? I would be delighted .As for the topic, Scharwenka C minor, after hearing the first 10 seconds of it: d'Albert?
