Composers Competition (Los Angeles area)
on: June 28, 2002, 10:49:05 PM
Hey World,

Guys, ive been composing contemporary piano pieces for a few years now. All of my friends and family have always told me how well i play. just recently, a very good friend of mine, Stephen, suggested that i play in composition competitions and share my songs with people...i might even win cash prizes. u see durring my freshman year of college, i competed in two campus talent shows and won 2nd place in both of them. We figured, i could do the same if not better in the "big leagues" 8)
So im writing to everyone to get information on competitions (preferably in the Los Angeles area, but any will do fine) so that i may submit my pieces in due time.
  Does anyone know of any?
