Yesterday the oldman and I went to this local piano wherehouse and we looked around for some reasonable prices and came to this one upright.

Is this a good upright to start with? Well it's in our price range,it has been restored and everything, by soundboard, strings, other things i cant remember and it sounds absolutely great.

Does it give you the dynamic range and range of colours you want to be able to fully realise your playing? If you like playing it, and can't see yourself wanting a better grand in the long run, go for it. It will only make you happy, and that's not a bad thing right?

Yes, it has great touch, and it doesnt have the "wavy" annyoing sound that some uprights have.I played for a while to make sure it is just right for me. I think it will help me develop my dynamics ever better, since digitals tend to have such a light resistance. This will be permanent for now until in later years i will have myself a Grand.
