My piano key

I want to ask can i change the the my piano key. Im not sure how to say like when i press on the key is like hard. There is some piano hard keys and some piano soft keys. I hope you get my point. I prefer soft keys on my piano but my piano is hard key so i have trouble playing with it. Is hard key better or soft? So its it possible to change? I know i must call someone expert on fixing piano. Just want to know can change or not.

The optimal weight is about 50-52 grams on each key i think, you can get a tuner to fix the weight of your keys for you

mmx, how about telling which make, model, and type of piano? There are few regulation procedures that can help lighten the touch weight, but any gross change in touch weight would cost a lot of $$$.

Really??? I had no idea! I own a "Maestropiano John Stewart" and the keys are extremely heavy! I thought it was due it's age, to the point I was thinking of trading it for an electric one (check the topic I posted the other day)
So, how can I lighten the keys? And how do i meassure their weight anyway?

 Let's get the terminology straight.  We're talking about touch weight. Not soft keys. Yamaha's are known to have a light touch weight The down weight of most manufacturers grands fall within the 56-48 gram range. Verticals, by the nature of their action designs, do not have the same feel as a grand piano action. So there is little room for  a large change in touch weight on a vertical, and it would be quite expensive to carry out such a change.

Yaya touch key. I mean some piano you must use more force to press on the key if the key is hard. So i was wondering if can be tune or not or change smth inside the piano

Yes, probably it can be changed a little.  For example, the heavy touch could be due to friction, which can be reduced by lubrication and other means.
