you sound amazing! not too overpowering.you know, you have to mix sides, imo. when you play the chopin and liszt - have some restraint like the scarlatti and then when you play scarlatti - just a slight bit more expansiveness.
Thanks for everyone's replies. To answer kimba's question, I have been playing piano for about five years. Some of Scarlatti's music is very virtuosic, some is not. So I am sure you could find something that you enjoy and could play well.As far as the piece being too fast. I actually have a harpsichord recording which goes faster. I have also heard it on piano much slower. And I must say I prefer the faster tempo, it has much more life. It is titled allegro afterall which translates to happy.
