At that point he is talking about the Medtner sonata, maybe its the sonata romantica as shown just before....i dont know really

That is right! It is the very end of the first movement and—attaca—the beginning of the second movement, the Scherzo, of Medtner's Sonata Romantica in B flat minor, Op.53 No.1, written in 1930. It is published, together with Medtner's other Sonatas, by Dover.
