The end jumps are absolutely amazing (it looks like he has 16 fingers), but it's such a dissapointment that he ends on the wrong chord :(

The mistake at the end is very easy to do... I've done it many times (not in performance, though).  It's an octave, and not a chord, to be more accurate.

Are you saying it's easy to make that mistake, or easy to play it correctly?

The only thing easy in that piece is the opening alternating D's. After that, it's a ride through the fires of hell my friend. :P

Well until you practice it thoroughly, the octaves at the end are easy to screw up.  Take a look at the score and see what you have to do with the LH while doing the gliss in the RH.  Even when you've got it 'perfect', it's still easy to screw up.
