I dont agree. Beethoven didnt write the best piano music: 48 (41.7%)

Most overrated:Mozart

Most underrated: Schubert and Scriabin as a close second

Schubert was a better composer then Chopin but propably not for the piano.

Schubert was never very interested in playing the piano as well.

1. Liszt
2. Rachmaninov (particularly the works with piano and orcherstra, but also the preludes, etudes and second sonata, and the transcriptions. Not as numerous as Liszt, but certainly remarkably pianistic).
3. Bach (I love his music, but it is beyond the piano, otherwise easily #1)
4. Beethoven
5. Tie: Chopin & Scarlatti & Godowsky

A matter of personal preference.
