Hi! I've been a public safety dispatcher (I answer 9-1-1, send fire, rescue, cops, etc.) in central Illinois for twenty years. I majored in Piano Performance at Eastern Illinois University, studying with Dr. Catherine Smith, who was the first woman in the USA to get her doctorate in piano performance. Practical application, eh?

I've taught piano on and off for about 25 years, and currently have twelve studi, ages 7 to 16yoa. They're the light of my life. They keep me inspired and giggling!

Financial services... back in school getting my MBA, working for a FS firm and studying piano on the side.  I find the later more interesting, but the former more effective at paying the bills
