Hi guys,

I'm new in this forum and a beginer pianist. Some of the posts in this site are really great!

That is good! I am working this one also and cannot yet play as good. There is something that sounds strange to my ear at right hand, first beat, bar 7 : on my score, the chord is D-b at left hand and A-b - F at right hand. Do you play that ? At bar 15, the highest note is A-b, you play C ?
You miss ppp at bar 39. The usual tempo is a bit faster.
Anyway, I would like to play it as well. The strongest difficulty for me consists in the sixth intervals at bar 25.

Hi didier_brest,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Actually I played by heart, but learned from the Urtex edition of G. Henle Verlag.

Bar 7: first beat, Db left hand but Bb right hand as a grace note going to Ab - F. Does your edition have this grace note?

Bar 15: you're completely right...  :P highest note should be Ab instead of C.

I know my tempo was quite conservative.... need to speed it up!

You are working on it as well? For me the strongest difficulty are bar 9 and 33.  I'll be very glad to hear your interpretation and to learn more! Love to learn!

Hi Riga,
yes I have the grace note also, the problem is elsewhere, may be at the bass : are you sure that you play Db ?
Anyway it does not sound the same on my piano: listen to the attached record of the first theme.

Didier

Hi Didier,

Db was my intention, as I've learned as it, but I can not ensure if I did correct when recording (I just played it again and clearly it was a Db).

I like your tempo, is much better than mine, I already increased it. BTW, be careful with bar 9, critical one, as I'm sure you can play it much more clear and without hesitations  ;).

Looking forward to hear your whole piece. I saw that you posted Number 2 as well. Are you going to play/post all 6?

No, I don't intend at this time to learn the other ones. I have still much work with no. 2 and shall still improve no. 3.   ;)
