Woo, thanks a lot. "i would have preferred more penetrating and ringing top notes for the right hand chords of that slow part" You mean bring out more top notes?

yeah, just do it the russian way-- penetrate those notes until your fingertips bleed!!!! HAHAHAHA  ;D >:( ;D >:( ;D

just kidding. but yeah, i meant the top notes and dont just bring them out, really make them ring a different color above all of the other notes of the chord (in the context of your dynamic marking, of course). horowitz is a master of it.:)
Well, keep going.<br />- Martha Argerich

I know, Horowitz is just the best. I never hear anyone who can make the piano to sound like him.

Somebody told me that his piano was very different from anoter pianos and it could produce a special sound. Somebody even told me that his piano was Steinway and Sons but he got some of Baldwin strings on his piano too. I don't know if this is substantial but it sounds interesting, doesn't it?

my teacher played on it once. he says it's very light and very sensitive to your touch. notice the sudden big basses he sometimes plays? probably that's because it's too light, haha. he brings it everywhere.
