Yeah, I found something very cool. Cziffra when he was 13.

Beautifuly playing, even if you can hear the beginnings of the terribly hard tone that his later recordings are full of.   :o

he wanted some advocado ice cream with mushmellow on top--yeah, thing that he always loved since he was a toddler, BUT this time he didn't get one. hence the playing..

Was this impressive?  I would have expected more from the great Cziffra, this piece isn't technically very difficult and musically this is a pretty bad performance.  I guess he wasn't really a child prodigy.

standards are very different now


mozart, liszt, etc, would be technically no better at that age.

we was just kinda unhappy for not getting his favourite dessert, thats all.

had he been given the advocado ice cream with mushmellow toppings, we woulda heard liszt sonata played fantabulously, instead. :D
