Hi,
Someone is giving me an old Story & Clark upright piano. It was made in the early 1900s. It looks similiar to this style, but it has a large wood carving on the front display (very nice looking).
The piano is in decent condition, and all of the keys work except 2, which the strings need to be replaced (and all tuned).
QUESTION:
Im trying to find out what the best way to move this piano is. Im not sure how much it weighs, and I have to go around a couple of corners of her house. I plan on either renting a moving truck with a ramp that goes up and down, or renting an open top trailer and pushing it up a ramp.
Anyone have a general idea how much a piano like this weighs?
This is not the actual piano, but it looks very similiar
