Clavinova and MIDI files
on: June 01, 2006, 08:55:06 PM
I have a Clavinova CLP-170. Whenever I download piano MIDI files, transfer them to the Clavinova piano and play them, they are always played with the lesser quality standard MIDI piano sound (from the XG sound database) rather than the Clavinova's high-definition grand piano sound. Of course I want to play the MIDI files with the high-quality piano sound.

Anyone know how to do this? Do I have to somehow edit the MIDI files on my computer or can I use some settings on the Clavinova?

Best regards,
