Classical

I'm pretty hopless at piano but I'm starting to take it seriously now. All I need is to know a few good calssical songs that are fairly easy but not to easy to play and where I can find them. Finding free sheet music online is getting harder and harder it seems...

As you said 'song', i think that you should use the word 'piece'

'Song' is refered as vocal piece by singers.

to your question.
Try
Beethoven: Fur Elise(i hate to say that, but it's everyone's piece, everyone will learn it one day), minute in G, moonlight soanta 1st movement.

then you can do some more intense technique aimming study then go off to Chopin, then you can post a message again

for sheetmusic website

as i mentioned

ED had to point out the frequent classical newbie use of the word SONG instead of PIECE. ED has now frightened off many would-be listeners of classical music with his inane snobbery, i might now try and recomend you try to play alkans concerto for solo piano. But that would be a joke, because your feeble abilities arent enough to comprehend its grandeur. I dont correct people when they say SONG instead of PIECE, i just get very angry, but hold back my rage, then later i take it out on a punch bag(friend). Now i have to lie down and listen to a nice relaxing song by LISZT called totentanz.

I like to refer to pieces of music for piano as "things".

Eeer sorry I guess. I actually do sing too but I was talking about a piece. I'm just too used to saying "song" now. Oh well, it wont happen again. And about what SteinwayModelD said :

"Beethoven: Fur Elise(i hate to say that, but it's everyone's piece, everyone will learn it one day), minute in G, moonlight soanta 1st movement."

Yes well, I already learned Fur Elise, and I learned SOME of moonlight sonata. I guess I'll finish it off first then try minuet in G after... thanks. Oh and once again, sorry about the mix up.  :-[

I like it when people say piano music is relaxing. Then i play Ornstein's 'Wild Mens Dance'. They are soon relaxed, but only because they feinted.....
