Actually,

26 preludes
57 Mazurkas
19 Waltzes (maybe 21)
16 Polonaises
21 Nocturnes
27 Etudes
4 Scherzos
4 Ballades
3 Sonatas
4 Impromptus (Fantasie Imp. included)
4 Rondos
4 Variations
3 Ecossaises
14 miscellaneous pieces.

Altogether 206 works for solo piano.

Piece of cake. Three weeks is more than enough time ;)

Of course not. Have you not noticed the emoticon? ( ;);D

Best wishes,

And can i also add that he is 16. Not saying he is not capable, but cannot do all that in one summer, he needs to have space for a life too!

Well, since it's been summer for awhile, some are already learned and some are about halfway/almost done but...

Chopin Etude Op. 25/2
Chopin Prelude no. 1 C major
Beethoven Concerto no. 1 (first movement, have to learn rest before Dec.)
Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2(started this one at the friska, clear the toughest stuff first!!)

Pieces to finish up from before summer
Schubert/Liszt Valse caprice no. 6
Rachmaninoff Prelude Op. 32/10
Beethoven sonata pathetique

Maybe some Scarlatti when i get some stuff out of the way  ;D

UPDATE:

Bach Toccata in D Minor
Beethoven Sonata in E minor, Op. 90 (complete)
Chopin Preludes, Op. 28 No's 3, 10, 16, and 19 (This may vary...)
Chopin Prelude in C# Minor, Op. 45
Chopin Prelude in Ab Major, Posthumous
Chopin Scherzo No. 1 (I've already learned this, I just want to maintain it)
Debussy L'Isle Joyeuse
Bolcom The Poltergeist from Three Ghost Rags

Still haven't decided a concerto but I'm leaning towards Prokofiev 1.  Does anybody have some sage advice to offer concerning it?

I picked out my own rep this summer:

Bach P+F in B-flat minor, WTC I
Mozart Sonata in D major K. 576
Brahms Klavierstucke op. 118 (all)
Debussy Images I (Reflets, Hommage, and Mouvement)

Yep, it's a lot of rep to bite off, but I'm planning on working on it into the year and putting at least some of it on my junior recital.

That said, any suggestions or thoughts on the pieces?

Okay, [poll] question then for you.  Do you use 5-4 on the trills at the end of the development over the dominant pedal?

Best,
ML

But come Late September 2010... I want to start playing some major Piano Concerti.

I have to finish learning my competition pieces:
Beethoven Piano Concerto no.1
Mozart Sonata K.284
Schumann Papllions
& Debussy Estampes

heh...my canada piano teacher seems to have alot of confidence in me, perhaps a bit too much but i'll probably suceed in finishing everything she has assigned just because i'm always afraid of disappointing her especially when she's visiting now. I discussed with her my plans for school for next term so we selected my pieces for my school exam together as well, I have to give her a list of the pieces i selected from the choices she gave me on friday with the exception of Schumann,
for school exam in Nov:
Scarlitti Sonata Kk.141 in d minor & Liszt Gnomereign
other pieces assigned by her: ( was instructed to pick 1-2 of each from Liszt Transcedental Etudes,Annees de Pelerinage,Schubert Waltzers,Brahms Intermezzi,Schumann Abegg* and Scenes from Childhood*)
Liszt Transcedental Etude no.9 Ricordanza
Liszt Annees de Pelerinage Swisse nos. 7 Églogue 9 Les cloches de Genève. Nocturne
Brahms Intermezzi op.118
Schubert Waltzers D.790& D.820
J.S Bach Italian Concerto,Beethoven Sonata op.2 no.2,Mozart Sonatas K.330&333,Chopin Scherzo no.2,Etude op.10 no.12&Fantasie Impromptu
