Prokofiev Sonata No. 4
on: July 26, 2006, 10:17:35 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm currently struggling with the 3rd movement of Sonata No. 4 by Prokofiev. I am not a professional pianist, but I studied piano for some 10 years, so I'm pretty confident with what I do.
One of my favorite recordings of this piece is by Yefim Bromfman. I find it difficult to achieve his tempo tho, I already reworked some of my fingerings, however it still feels that I am not using the right fingering to confidently get to the speed of lightning this piece deserves.
Anyone here studied this piece?
I would greatly appreciate someone who actually studied and performed this piece a tempo posting their fingerings and suggestions for the first 4 pages of the 3rd movement.
Thanx for all your help.
