En Automne...???
on: August 06, 2006, 03:35:27 PM
Friends,

I seek a long lost item from my early youth..I recall the following, but may be wrong on spelling, and WHICH of the sim. named composers:

En Automne, perhaps by Moritz Moszkowski.

Any remember or know it?

Best Regards,  John Cont

Well!!!!!!!!, Such an expedient answer....,

I was at least correct on the spelling AND composer....Hope I can be excused for being so "backward" on rep. ::)...I just don't keep up very well anymore, and forget easily...and I was only about 12 when I played it...(I was starting to have girls on my mind as well....)...

And........ I don't pretend to have played it at tempo either ;D nor will I do so at my age...but one can try...

MANY thanks to you BOTH for your kindness...For Sure!!!

My Regards!  John Cont.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
