What type is this piano?

Hi everyone,

We have a piano in our house, because years ago my sister started playing it but quit pretty soon. But because it's a pretty thing to see in the room it's still there and I like to play on it sometimes (though I don't have time and money to take lessons - I already play cello, my parents said I should choose...)
Anyway, I know the brand is Euterpe, but I can't find a plate with the type, I've searched everywhere inside and outside the piano. We bought it from the Theatre School of Amsterdam and there are two stickers in it, one newer one with 'Euterpe 9498' on it and one older one with '94 980' on it. I searched on the internet and the 9498 was build around 1900, while the 94980 was build around 1973, so that's quite a difference. I don't have any piano-knowledge, so I thought I could maybe ask it here. Does somebody know which of these two (or a completely other one) is the right type number, or which year (1900 or 1973) was it most likely build? The case design makes 1900 completely impossible..... its typical 70's style.

Ya got it right on th year, huh....and ...,

Could the old # be a scale desig., maybe...that is, the orig. 1900 piano "innards" design stuff used t' make this newer model? (tryin' to be less wordy...and more up to date... )

In the past, it was mentioned by some that my language is a bit stilted and old fashioned; (I am actually a bit elderly...) It was not directed at you, and I apologize for the non-clear explanation of my response!!! (I was even called to task for my poor English skills..())

Your post is fine, and I hope you get some additional answers on the piano, which, by the way, looks very nice, and perhaps a bit in the so called Danish Modern of a decade or so earlier?? I hope you are keeping it in good repair and tune...
