I'm going for a competition soon, and I need help in picking one element of the programme. In the first round, I am playing (as required) a Chopin Etude (probably 10.4), Bach G major P&F from book II, and the Schumann Arabeske. I need an extra work (of max 8/9 minutes' duration). What would complement this programme well?

Within your capabilities, probably Ginastera Danzas Argentinas (6-8 mins).

I agree - either the Ginastera, or first movement of a Beethoven sonata. Certainly something from another time period.
