Quasimodo's Juke Box (requests for recordings)
on: August 21, 2006, 03:59:15 AM
Okay, it's a strange idea maybe...
There are some pieces I would like to hear in alternate versions; they are not much played in recordings, probably because they're b*tches. However, I know some of you guys are proficient enough to maybe have them in your repertoire, so if you can post a recording of yours, you'll be granted my eternal gratitude.

For a start:
Rachmaninov Preludes Op.23 N.3 and N.9; Etude Tableau op.33 N.1
Scrabin Etudes op.8 n.8 and 11, op 42 N. 1, 7 and 8.

Well if someone can post anything by Alkan, as well...

Thanks by advance.
