Oh noes, not another concerto ranking thread. >_>

Well, the title pretty much says everything. My teacher says that I should take up one concerto(my first actually). So I wanted something short, Prokofiev no.1; but he thinks this is a big jump for a first, so he gave me some choices.
Please rank them subjectively, I just want to know what you think.
rachmaninoff no.1(teacher's suggestion)
rachmaninoff no.2(also my teachers suggestion)
ravel in g major(my suggestion)
liszt no.1(haven't asked but I will)
liszt no.2(also didn't ask yet)
prokofiev no.1(I just want to know if it is the hardest of all these; of course he will not let me take this though.)
Oh, and feel free to suggest a concerto which you think might be at this level.

That's the price you pay for being moderate in everything. See, if I were you, my name would be Ilovepie. But that's just me.

anyone here? You don't have to rank it if you don't want to, just give suggestions on concertos you think would fit this level

I'm working on the Prokofiev 1 concerto right now. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that it will be the first complete concerto I've learned (I've also done the first movements of Beethoven 2 and 3 and Prokofiev 3). I think the most challenging one was the Prokofiev 3 but that was almost 2 years ago and I've advanced a bit since then. The slow parts of both Prokofievs kind of take a while to get the hang of... I think that something like Beethoven would be easier for a first concerto.

When I was studying in college a few years ago, i went through the same thing with my teacher suggesting I do a concerto. I, too, had my heart set on Prokofiev's first because I liked it. She then suggested I do either the first movement of his 3rd concerto or Liszt's first, among a couple others. I chose the Liszt for the fact that it is shorter than the others...it's one movement divided into sections. This was much more appealing than learning one movement from a bigger concerto. I don't like to learn things part of the way through, I want to learn the whole thing!
So it's up to you. I don't know much about the other choices...rachmaninoff 2 is certainly popular and overplayed, but i hear it's enjoyable and not terribly hard to play. If you're looking for an entire concerto, go for either liszt (they're tough, but not TOO bad). If you want to learn just a movement go for any of the others you listed, or you may consider Grieg's a minor first movement, mendelssohn's, schumann's, tchaikovsky's (2nd or 3rd movement)...tons of them.
