It is even better.

I will mail you some.

Thal
Don't forget the new UK Royal Fail regulations that would now have us believe that "size really matters"; it would, as you doubtless realise, have to be stamped in accordance with the dimensions of the package. Anyway, if you can manage to "trap wind" in a Jiffy bag as opposed to the more customary location for trapped wind, then you deserve a medal as much as I deserve not to have to open the package concerned.

Best,

I have really annoying habit!!! of losing the bones that I bury in the garden, man i hate that so much!!!

My real weird habit is actually picking the little fluffy things off clothing, bed sheets, socks etc. I have always done it since i was a 3 yeard old, i still do it. sometimes i make a real mess, leaving little fluff balls all over the place, and i get really embarrassed, i have to clean it all up. I just love the way they feel under my finger nails.
I also smell all food before i eat it. People dont seem to appreciate my dog like behaviour in this regard. I dont actually rub my wet nose on it though like pooch would.
Oh god, i feel like im in therapy.

A good percentage of your perception of taste actually comes from smell.  By smelling your food you are just allowing for a better eating experience.  More power to you.

For some wierd reason I can't pick the fluff off of stuff.  Especially the fluff that is still partly attached to the base material.  It has some wierd effect in my ears.  I'm serious, it's like the fingernails on chalkboard thing for me.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

I thought this thread was about weird habits, not personality disorders   ;D

A lot of obssessive compulsives here. I guess that says something about pianists....

my four year old is the only one in the family wierder than me.  yesterday she was eating fruit loops from a small container with two straws.  sort of a variation on 'chopsticks.'

she also looks like me.  (i know, i'm setting myself up).  she is like God's joke on me.  she is very sweet to just go around being me and wanting to do everything i do.  so, i bake something and she has to crack eggs.  or, i'm vaccuming and she has to vaccum.  or dusting.  or whatever else.  she even likes gardening and wants to buy garden tools and gloves and stuff whenever we go out.  neither of the other two wants to do things with me - so i'm thinking i kind of like the joke.

my other daughter went with my hubby to see 'black eyed peas' last night.  she knows i would never take her and didn't even bother asking me.  (it's a rock concert - of which tickets for two cost $115.  yikes.  not even classical music tickets are that much for two - with cheaper seating).

Um . . .

1. scratching my head then sniffing the smell off my fingertips;
2. hanging around at home wearing undies only (and going to bed that way);
3. tickling feet, including my own;
4. having my back scratched by another person;
5. playing and practising the piano in very dim (barely visible) light;
6. eating raw eggs;
7. eating bottled baby food;
8. etc . . .

Everything's gotta be grouped in fours... if I scratch my head once, ill scratch it three more times... I'll take four sips of a drink before putting it down... if I touch a hot stove, i'll literally touch it three more times to satisfy myself  :-\ ... I got a speeding ticket today, I was trying to get 4000 RPM on my car, and I was already goin the limit, so I went quite a bit over, and got a massive fine.....

I do the same thing, but with eight. It's especially evident when I brush my teethe or tap my fingers on something.

Changes from day to day. Today I was stabbing political candidate's posters with a pencil until they had many holes in their face. It's fun, you ought to try it!  :)

This is wierd?

5. playing and practising the piano in very dim (barely visible) light;
Good practice for not looking at your hands.
6. eating raw eggs;
7. eating bottled baby food;

Try it for yourself and you'll know.

2. hanging around at home wearing undies only (and going to bed that way);
My dad does this and I go to bed that way.

3. tickling feet, including my own;
How do you tickle your own feet?
Just scratching with my finger tips. It doesn't really 'tickle", especially because my bare soles aren't quite ticklish, but the sensation is one of soothing, even highly erotic (!!)

4. having my back scratched by another person;
This is wierd?
Nope. Very soothing and relaxing. It's like scratching a whole page of itch the size of your entire back. Wow!

5. playing and practising the piano in very dim (barely visible) light;
Good practice for not looking at your hands.
6. eating raw eggs;
7. eating bottled baby food;
You think this is bad? I once at roast gluten loaf.
No, I don't think they're bad at all. I think raw egg yolks and bottled baby food are YUMMY  :P

8. etc . . .

And hey, yes . . . No.8 follows:
8. typhoon and storm chasing ! Typhoons (you call them hurricanes in Europe and America) are some of the most magnificent displays of unleashed fury of Nature. It is so exciting that the mere anticipation of an approaching powerful typhoon is enough to send thrills all through my spines. Just can't have enough of them !!
