chat room shenanigans
on: August 28, 2006, 07:39:08 PM
Hello.

I would like it so that when you go onto the chat page, before you sign in, it tells you who is in the chatroom. I'm sure it could be done....? Then you can decide if you want to go in or not. Because there might just be a load of plebs inside. Thankyou

Well, that chat schedule I guess is coming soon....  :-\

but you know, it's not that hard to just go in and if you don't want to chat with anyone just leave, it doesn't take that long

I know in England they say mum instead of "mom"... but you said mummy in your last post. That in america is percieved as a preserved dead person from ancient times. So what do you call a mummy, then? a mummy?

Thanks for the heads-up on that - and for your (presumed) foundation of the society of which you are in charge (I didn't even know it existed - just goes to show my ignorance, does it not?).

Well, it's better than having studied with Sir Q LaRargument, I suppose (not that one can judge anyone's pianism from their tutelage - after all, we all know about the long-time almost clichéesque currency of that phrase "a pupil of Liszt", n'est-ce pas...)

Anyways!  For what it's worth, I don't use the chat room anymore, but when I did, I wanted that function, too.  So I vote for a list of names of people who are in there, too!

Greetings.

Please pardon my ignorance, but having seen you state "icky poo" many times(in the same chat room mind you), my curiosity itches to find out just exactly what it means.

Regarding shenanigans, I do not find a particular need for the said screen that would enable you to observe what goes on in the room. I don't know, I just don't like that "Big Brother is watching" scenario on the forum, the likes of which I have already brought up with Nils, to a great dissapointment expressed by some members unfortunately.

Best.
