Piano Street Virtuosos
on: September 07, 2006, 07:15:41 PM
A thought just occurred to me. If some of the pianists would use as much time practicing as they do posting on these silly threads they'd be virtuosos by now.

Alright, it's just a thought that occurred to me. I'm not pointing fingers. ::)

I don't have to consider this because my practicing days are over. So get off my back! ::)

Best, John ;D

Johnny Boy, your general statistics say you have spent a total of 3 days on piano forum in your entire life.  I dobut those three days are going to turn anyone into a virtuoso!

Pianitisimo's statistics say she has spent 42 days total of her life, that is 42 days you will never have back to do the laundry, on piano forum.  Not even 42 days a virtuoso makes!

Viva piano forum!

Every little bit helps. 42 days? Is that 24 hour days? That would be over 1,000 hours. :o One could learn a couple piano concertos in that much time.

I didn't mean to pick on you Pianitisimo. I was just using one of Ramsey's stats. Wow! 42 days! Over 1,000 hours - holy jeez! :o Only kidding.

Best, John :)

All you need to do now is stop people being ill and going to the loo and you've a sure fire way to save business billions a year. Although I think the patent exists "A method for employees who are full of crap"

24 days, 1008 hours, you can learn quite a lot of piano concertos, a few chopin ballades and still have time to masturbate.
Bach - Partita No.2
Scriabin - Etude 8/12
Debussy - L'isle Joyeuse
Liszt - Un Sospiro

Goal:
Prokofiev - Toccata

The knowledge I have gained from this place has WAY out weighed the time Iv spent on here. If I have spent 24 hours on here, then it was the best 24 hours Iv ever spent!
