problem
on: September 19, 2006, 01:08:36 PM
ok.  occasionally people get mail accidentally sent to the wrong address (their own with another name).  now, what i think is unusual in my case is that the sender has amnesia.  i write on the letter 'return to sender.  no such person at this address.'  i have done this TWICE.  now , i get the THIRD letter (different letter/card) to my address which is only 5 years old and noone lived here before - from the same lady to the same unknown person at MY address.

this is not a puzzle.  this is a question.  what to do?  should i again do the 'return to sender' with the word 'idiot' affixed.  (but, the bible says 'call no man/woman an idiot.') or should i keep the letter and open and read it.  it's a crime.  maybe this person is trying to get me to commit a crime by opening a letter not addressed to me?  wierd , i say.  i think i will return the letter today - but what would you do?  i do not want letter #4 coming next week.

i don't have her number.  she lives in new jersey.  but, i did write a note on the front to bring this person to the attention of the postmaster since it is the THIRD letter returned.

You're looking for someone called Theo C. Cupier or one of the Everett-concerns family?

did you try to look up an address for the lady it's addressed to?   possible this could be an older lady writing the letter and she does have amnesia or memory lapses???   that could be very possible

yes.  is definately 'older lady' shaky handwriting.  it was addressed to 'elizabeth stinson.'   i will look now in the phone book.  hopefully she won't be listed as 'liza.'  but, what if i send her the correct address and she continues to send the letters to me due to amnesia?  what is point of giving her the correct one?  she forgot three times that this was the wrong one.  i may just have a drink for her.

now, i'm getting really scared.  i did one of those 'spy on people' things without paying $29.95 and found out there IS an elizabeth stinson in collegeville.  but she has taken my address as she is unlisted in the phone book.  how can this be?  should i report this to anyone beyond the postmaster?  next thing you know, she'll take my burial plot.

how does identity theft begin?  my mom says in anchorage, alaska - there have been a series of break-in's.  the theives only steal passports, wallets, financial papers.  about 10-20 have been reported.  people say they come home from work and their drawers are all pulled out.

God just open them and read them!

This happened to me and after mail kept coming despite being redirected I opened it and found out it was from the scientologists.

It was addressed to the former resident who was a high ranking member of the church.

The letters detailed their plans to build a spaceship and establish a colony in space when the end of the world comes.

Part of the plan, according to the information gleaned from the letters, was to brainwash local residents into pledging allegiance to a dastardly plot to launch a string of massive saurin gas attacks on capital cities around the globe, bringing about said end of the world and said rise to power of the Thetan race.

Following the leads in the letters I was able to infiltrate their organsiation, blow the whole sordid plan wide open in an award winning scoop and play a central role  in the prosecution and conviction of the ringleaders.

mmmwahahahahaha

This is all made up, but my point is, you never know what you might find out...

my credit report was fine the last time i checked - but elizabeth is listed as a sort of 'hero' when you google her name.  i'm not sure for what.  would be interesting to find out.  what if she is trying to steal my husband.

dear ada,

that sounds better than wolff getting to look at bach manuscripts at kiev conservatory library (where they interviewed a past librarian to glean information and then found out vicariously which location it was in).  i want to be a musicologist, too!

i want to preserve manuscripts.  i don't care about plots of any other sort.  elizabeth stinson, i found, could also be working at stanford examining bots and spybots that get into people's computers so that they can be accessed at will.

he looks like johnny depp!  captain jack, ehh.  now, how does this fit in with everett-concerns.  i'm missing something.  no matter.  if she writes again - i shall open the letter and reseal it.

the last i read about tom cruise, he actually went to brooke shields house and apologized.  at first, i thought 'how nice.'  then, come to find out - it was because his wife made him.  ?  men!

he apologized cause he realized it was affecting his career i think.......he thought he could say whatever/whenever and he would get away with it......i think he learned a lesson- fall from grace is very short!
