My program for diploma

What do you think about my program for diploma?

J. S. Bach: Prelude and fuga WTK I, f-moll
Liszt: La leggierezza
L. v. Beethoven: Sonata op. 110

INTERMISSO

Rahmaninov: Etude op. 33/5
Chopin: Fantasie Op. 49
Prokofiev: Sonata No. 2

and  Beethoven: Concerto No. 4

If you can play all those pieces I would choose something else than a Bach P&F, I would rather see something like the Italian Concerto there. Also, isn't the Liszt etude a bit easy compared to your other pieces? Maybe go for TE no. 10 instead?

Apart from that it is a wonderful program I would definately go to if it was played here!

Thank you, I can play Toccata in D too. I dont think that all of pieces must be so hard.

Programme looks fine.. Which diploma?? I think the placing of works could possibly be improoved. I dont see anything wrong with a prelude and fugue and the concert etude.. What is this thing with everyone that everything must be hard and the whole programme must be the same level of difficulty.. very immature thinking!! Its more professional to play less physically taxing pieces perfectly than to play a super virtuoso programme with no quality. But still you see:'Im doing my kindergarten seior recital and im playing Waldstein, Brahms op5 sonata, Rachmaninov no 2 sonata and the last 3 prokofiev sonatas and for my encores I'll play all the liszt transcendentals'
Give audiences and examiners a break.. play stuff you can do well and really communicate... Noone and I mean noone wants to hear scrambled/fumbled notes being pumped out by some kid who cant touch the pedals.  Frankly when considering an audience you should also take their stamina as well as your into account .. most grannies and nursing home escapees havent the attention spans to listen to 4 15 min plus long works after one another and dont want to hear wall to wall virtuosity .. they like tunes that they can remember.. thery like to know you can waggle you fingers yes but they would also like evidence that you have a soul.
This is a very long and slightly irate way of saying VARIETY is key to a programme... you have a duty not to bore your audience and I think the programme you have chosen is very suitable.  The 4th is a great concerto but please dont play it as an encore..else i'll be doing voodoo on you  ;)
