Messiaen - Regard XVIII
on: October 17, 2006, 07:16:32 PM
Regard de l'Onction terrible
A piece seemingly filled of unleashed power, anger and violence , yet with a constant thrive forward in the choral melody build by octaves and fifths. A piece also filled with lots and lots of opportunities to jump to the wrong place, due to the similar-but-another-place-of- the-keyboard-passages, and its mirrorlike form. Of course especially when playing by heart....
Once again, though, I
think
i made it this time.
