Self teaching
on: January 25, 2004, 05:40:38 AM
Hi,
I have acquired most of the necessary skills to teach myself the piano but I still have a few problems. These skills were learnt by being taught with a saxophone teacher and I am transposing most of the appropriate materials. I hope that made sense.
I read notes but not too fast as I am not used to it. I play a few simple and complex materials as being taught by other people. Im fine with them. I feel ready to learn from music sheet on my own. My problem is this simple one. in the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven with the sharps, what is a b sharp or its equivalent?? I haven't seen that note before. I hope I provided enough of my background.

Great artists aim for perfection, while knowing that perfection itself is impossible, it is the driving force for them to be the best they can be - MC Hammer
