Board Suggestion: Adult Students and Returning Pianists
on: October 22, 2006, 05:55:01 PM
Hi:
How about a board that focuses on Adult Students (Both new pianists and those
returning after a hiatus). In my case, I began serious work with a teacher about 2 1/2 years ago after a break of about 30 years. (I started lessons again after arranging for my then 5 year old so to begin learning).
Although many of the issues are the same for pianists of any any age, older students may have
some different perspectives, problems, and issues to share. (e.g. how not to
drive your family crazy with repetitious and/or late night practicing!).
Best,
Gary K

Thanks for your suggestion.
I understand your point but we try to not have more boards than really necessary and the current Student's Corner is for anyone who is not on a professional level, of course including adult students.
