Arpeggios F-3-5-7 - Fingering ?
on: January 27, 2004, 10:44:57 AM
Hi !
I am experimenting the maj.7 arpeggios (F-3-5-7) and try the technic that consists in basing the arpeggio on the corresponding chord positions, moving that latter (so, consequently the whole hand) up and down the keyboard with each time a shift of one octavia... (Any comment on the efficiency - or inefficiency - of that technic is welcome !!)
Now, if the 7th falls on a white key, it seems to me that, with some work I should be able to do it and gain some speed. If it falls on a black key, the little finger has a very narrow space to land on and it becomes much more difficult !
Is the same technic still applicable in that case ?
Could somebody help me ?
Thank you !
