Competitions
on: November 01, 2006, 09:39:37 PM
Does anybody know of a place that has a up-to-date list of piano competitions other than the big international competitions (i.e. leeds, international chopin competition, etc.). I know I'm not the only one asking, and I know there have been numerous posts about this, but I'm wondering if there's a place where they are organized.
The competitions I'm looking for are not necesarily smaller, but more regional, so that travel woudln't be a problem. I am also looking at US alone.
Anybody able to help?
Thank you,
Titus

This is the first thing I found on google, don't know if it helps, but it has one quite close to me which I wouldn't have thought existed. there's also a listing for individual states in the U.S.:

after having a closer look at it, the rest of the website looks pretty dodgy, so I would just stick to the references to Piano competitions. If you really feel inclined to see the rest of the weird stuff that guy put in, well, it's your choice...
