Another recital thread - sorry!!
on: November 02, 2006, 01:14:29 AM
In about a years time, I have to do my 3rd year recital and all though it is a long way off, I would like to have things organised soon. It has got to be about 40 - 45 mins, 50 mins abseloute max. Here is what I have so far:
Bach - Not sure yet, something quite short.. any suggestions?
Beethoven - E flat major sonata (Les Adieux)
Rachmaninoff - Moment Musicaux no. 1 - 4
Ravel - Jeux D'eau or Toccata (from tomeau de couperin).. which one should i choose?
Also, is this order good? I thought I might stick to chronological order. Would it be better to finish loud and big (rach) or can I finish with something nice and relaxing (ravel)? Any suggestions would be fantastic. Thanks!

For the Bach I would recommend the Fantasia in C minor. Short and dramatic. Of the Ravel, I prefer the Toccata.
